What We Do

PartsTrader New Zealand Ltd developed the PartsTrader platform to be an easy-to-use online marketplace that allows automotive trade parts buyers to find the right parts, at the right price, at the right time from parts suppliers. PartsTrader was launched in 2004 with the goal of;

“Transforming the automotive parts market by bringing together buyers and suppliers online to source the right parts, at the right time, at the right price”

Unlike a parts location system it utilises an online tendering system to enable buyers to get multiple confidential quotes from suppliers. This means the buyer can always choose the best combination of price, delivery time, and quality.

PartsTrader is accessed via an easy to use website - no special software is required.

The actual legal sale of parts still occurs directly between the buyer and supplier – PartsTrader’s role is to match suppliers with buyers and facilitate agreement on delivery, quality and price.

Each month PartsTrader manages over 10,000 parts request tenders and more than 30,000 quotes from suppliers.
